Last week, we announced that we’ve grown our global Wi-Fi network by nearly 50% in Q4 2013, from 1,490,000 to 2,190,000 hotspots.
Here are some details:
- More than twice as many hotspots as our nearest competitor, through our partnership with over 150 network operators worldwide
- The iPass Mobile Network currently covers 120 countries” and territories, as well as millions of other community hotspots across the world.
- For North America travelers, our addition of the Comcast Xfinity network has provided thousands more (fast!) Wi-Fi
- Wi-Fi coverage to 95% of the world’s top 100 airports
- iPass is available on 2,000 aircraft representing over 6,000 domestic flights per day (see demo), including American Airlines, Delta, United, US Airways, Alaska Air, and for international, Lufthansa, Etihad, Aer Lingus and American Airlines.
For iPass users lucky to have this service provided by their companies, they have 1.5 million more Wi-Fi hotspots to use.
